(F1) Manage Class Groups
SLS School Admins are able to view all Class Groups created from School Cockpit and in SLS. For schools that are not using School Cockpit, SLS School Admins will be able to create new Class Groups through SLS.
Search for Class Groups
- Open the left menu and select Administration, followed by Manage Class Groups.
- You may search for a Class Group based on the Class Group Name. To refine your search results, you may apply the Class or Group and Level filters.
- For a more refined search, click Filter to filter by Class or Group, School, Subject, Level, Academic Year, and Group Expiry Year (only applicable for Groups).
- Click Apply to proceed.
- The search results will be displayed in the table, showing information such as Class Group Name, Subject Name, Level, Academic Year and Group Expiry.
- Click the Class Group Name in the search results to view the Class Group details:
- Class Group Name
- Class Code
- Subject Name
- Level
- Academic Year
- School
- Admin Remarks
- Students in the Class Group
- Teachers in the Class Group
Edit a Class Group Without Owner
You can only edit Class Groups that do not have an owner.
- On the Manage Class Group page, click the Class Group Name of the Class Group you wish to edit.
- Click the Overflow (3-dot icon) found on the top right of the View Class Group subpage and click Edit.
- You can edit the details of the Class Group such as the Name, School, Expiry Academic Year, Description, Subject and Level.
- You can also Add/Remove Teachers or assign a teacher as the new owner of the Class Group.
- Click Save to confirm your changes.
Add a New Subject Class (For Schools Not Using School Cockpit)
- On the Manage Class Group page, click Add New Class.
- Fill in the following details - Class Code, Subject Name, Level, School, Admin Remarks (Optional).
- Click the Students ( ) tab followed by Add Student to add students into the Class Group. You can search for students by their Names, or click the Filter icon to filter the students by Form Class and Level.
- Select the checkboxes next to the students' names and click Add.
- Click the Teachers ( ) tab followed by Add Teachers as Owner to add teachers into the Class Group. You can search for teachers by their Names.
- Select the checkboxes next to the teachers' names and click Add.
- Select the checkbox under Form Teacher to indicate that the teacher is the form teacher of the particular Class Group.
- Click Create to proceed.
- Alternatively, you may import multiple classes at once by clicking Import Class.
Select your School from the dropdown list and Import Type (Class, Student Allocation, or Teacher Allocation). Upload the .csv file and click Upload.

Edit a Subject Class (For Schools Not Using School Cockpit)
- On the Manage Class Group page, click the Class Group Name of the Class you wish to edit.
- Click the Overflow (3-dot icon) found on the top right of the View Class Group subpage and click Edit.
- You can only edit the Level, Admin Remarks, Add/Remove Students or Teachers.
- Click Save to confirm your changes.
