- On the confirmation prompt, verify that the correct teachers have been selected.
- Click OK.
Reset Students' SLS Passwords
SLS School Admins can reset the passwords of any student in your school. This is necessary for:
- students who have forgotten their SLS password and are unable to reset it on their own, or
- onboarding of new students.
Note: Please refrain from mass resetting of students’ passwords after students have set up their accounts with the help of their parents.
- Open the left menu and click Administration, followed by Manage Users.
- On the Manage Users page, search for the accounts that need to be reset. If searching by name, use search operators such as "+" to refine the search (e.g. Angela+Ang).
- Alternatively, you may apply Filters to narrow down your search results.
- Click Apply.
- Select the students by selecting the checkboxes next to their names.
- Click Reset Password in the table header.
- A confirmation prompt will pop up indicating the number of users selected. Click OK.
- When password reset is successful, copy the One-Time Password (OTP) and disseminate it to the students. This OTP will last for one year or until it is regenerated again by another School Admin or Teacher.
Note: The OTP needs to be entered by students on the existing SLS login page and not the MIMS login page.
