(D3) About Short Answer Feedback Assistant (Enhanced)

The Short Answer Feedback Assistant (ShortAnsFA) provides auto-generated content-related feedback and suggested marks for free-response questions for any subject and level. It can also be combined with Annotated Feedback Assistant to provide feedback for both language and content related feedback.

Your teacher may add tool(s) to a Free-Response Question.
You may submit your response to the question, by clicking Submit Quiz.

Note:
From Mar 2025 SLS Update, you can upload PDFs or images as part of your response for assessment by ShortAnsFA.
- Submit Quiz if you are responding to a quiz;
- Submit if you are responding to a standalone question or in a Progressive Quiz.
To review your feedback and marks, click Teacher Comments.
You may also receive feedback based on a set of rubrics.
If AFA is enabled, you may also receive language and content related feedback. Review the errors detected by AFA reflected on the annotation cards. To view more details of the error, click on the speech bubble icon on the annotation cards.
