(A2,12) Attempt Google-Attached Files
SLS is now able to connect with the Google Suite of Tools. Students are encouraged to link their iCON 2.0 or Google accounts with SLS.
Open/Edit Google-Attached Files
If your teacher has attached Google Files to the pre-populated student answer for you to access/attempt, you will be able to access the file by clicking on the Open in New Tab or Edit button.
When attempting to access the file, a personal copy of the file will be created for you. Your name will be reflected at the front of the file name.
After the file is created, you may view the new file in Google and edit it directly.
After completing the work and returning to SLS, you will see the original file name has your name written in the front. You may then submit the file for marking.
Note: once submitted, you will not be able to edit your Google file.
Open/Edit Teacher Comments
- After your teacher has given feedback on the your work, you can edit a copy of your teacher’s comments under the Teacher Comments tab to do corrections.
- Your corrections will be reflected in an updated Google document under Teacher Comments. A two-way communication can be established between teachers and students during the feedback process.
