Viewing Students' Notes

You can monitor your students’ learning by referring to the Notes that they create within an Assignment you have given.

Important:

  • You will not be able to view the Notes made by students when they attempt MOE Library or Class Group Resources.
  • Notes created in Team Activities are Team Notes, and are shared amongst the Team.
    1. On the Monitor Assignment page, select the student's name.
    2. From the Activity List on the left, select the Activity that contains the Notes.
    3. Notes created by your students will be shown in the Annotations Drawer. Click the Notepad icon to Expand/Hide the drawer.
    4. Notes with highlights are tied to a highlighted text or annotated image within the Activity and clicking the Note card will anchor you to where the Note was created. Notes without highlights are tied to the Activity.
    5. The number of comments is indicated beside the Comments icon .
    6. You will be able to see all the Notes made by all the students in the Assignment.

View/Add Comments on Students' Notes

  1. To view Comments given by students on a student's Note, click Comments icon to open the card Details subpage.
  2. You can add comments by clicking the Add from the card Details subpage, and add your comments in the text box.

    3. Note: Comments added on a Team Note will be visible to all students in the team.

  3. You can also choose to insert mathematical or chemical equations by clicking the relevant icons.
  4. Once done, click Post.
  5. Click the Overflow (3-dot icon) to Edit/Delete a Comment.
