(B1,vi) Edit Detail cards
To view a Module/Section/Activity/Component/Quiz Detail subpage, click the respective card in the Module View page.
To edit a Module/Section/Activity/Component/Quiz Detail subpage, click the Pencil icon found at the top right of the header to enter the Module Editor page, followed by the Settings icon on the respective card.
Note: The Settings Drawer can be expanded/collapsed by clicking the expand/collapse icon.
Edit Module Details subpage
- To edit the Module Details subpage, click the Settings icon on the card found on every page. The following optional details can be edited:
- Module Notes - The Notes are visible only to Teachers with whom the Module is shared.
- Hide Section and Activity numbers - By default, this is turned off. You can turn it off so students do not see the Section/Activity numbers but you will still see it in the Module Editor page and Monitoring page.
- Language Settings
- Language Localisation - Instructions and questions of assignments may be presented to students in either one of the four languages - English (default), Chinese, Malay and Tamil.
- E-Dictionary (for Chinese only) - You can choose to allow students to use the Chinese Language or Chinese Language with English Translation E-Dictionary.
- Tags
- Keyword Tags - Keywords are used to improve the searchability of a resource.
- Module Tags - Modules can be tagged to learning objectives in the MOE Content Map to improve searches and recommendations in the Community Gallery.
- Module Credited to - You can credit teachers who have contributed to the creation of the Module. Their names will be listed when your Module is published in the Community Gallery. This is different from teachers with whom the Module is shared. Teachers can be given viewing or editing rights via Sharing of Module, but may not have contributed to the Module.
- Permissions - by default, these three checkbox will be checked.
- Allow teachers to copy/assign/publish this Module; allow students to copy this Module
- Allow teachers and students to view print-friendly worksheet
- Allow students to reattempt Module as Self-Study
- Click the Save icon to proceed.
Edit Section Details subpage
- To edit the Section Details subpage, click the Settings icon on the card found on the Section Cover page. The following optional details can be edited:
- Section Notes - The Notes are visible only to Teachers with whom the Module is shared.
- Learning Experience - **You can change the Learning Experience. However, your existing activities, if any, will remain unchanged.
- Click the Save icon to proceed.
Edit Activity Details subpage
- To edit the Activity Details subpage, click the Settings icon on the card found on the activity page. The following optional details can be edited:
- Activity Notes - The Notes are visible only to Teachers with whom the Module is shared.
- Active Learning Process - You can change the Active Learning Process. However, your existing activities, if any, will remain unchanged.
- Click the Save icon to proceed.
Edit Question Component Details subpage
To edit the Question Component Details subpage, click the Settings icon on the card found on the Activity page where you have added a Question. The following optional details can be edited:
- Learning Progress - You may choose to include this question in the Learning Progress. Click here to find out more about Learning Progress.
- Keyword Tags - This will improve the searchability of the question. You will have to tag a question if you wish to include it in the Learning Progress.
Question Tags - You may choose to tag individual questions to the relevant topics by clicking Add Question Tag.
Click the Save icon to proceed.
Edit Interactive Component subpage
To edit the Interactive Component Details subpage, click the Settings icon on the card found on the Activity page where you have added an Interactive Component (Interactive Thinking Tool, Poll or Discussion). The following optional details can be edited:
For ITT and Discussion:
Hide Names: When students' names are hidden, they will appear as Anonymous on the Interaction Board. Students will only see their own names.
- For Poll:
- Keyword Tags - This will improve the searchability of the poll.
- Hide Results: When results are hidden, students will only see what they have voted for.
Edit Quiz Detail subpage
- To edit the Quiz Details subpage, click the Settings icon on the card found on the Activity page where you have added a Quiz (Progressive, Auto-Marked or Teacher-Marked). The following optional details can be edited:
- Learning Progress - Include/Exclude Quiz questions in the Learning Progress
- Activity Notes - The Notes are visible only to Teachers with whom the Module is shared.
- Active Learning Process - You can change the Active Learning Process. However, your existing activities, if any, will remain unchanged.
